Introduction to LOUIS: Integrating learning outcomes beyond subject expertise in your course
Beschreibung:
This class introduces the LOUIS competence model and shows how it can increase the development of students’ general academic and personal competences, regardless of the discipline, specific subject, or objective of the course. Over the course of the class, we will guide and assist participating teachers to identify, integrate, implement, and assess those general competences that best fit in their course and their teaching style. The class will be taught in hybrid mode, with on-site sessions in Duisburg-Essen, joint online sessions with participants from Palacky University Olmütz (Czech Republic), and one on-site meeting during the Aurora Biannual in Olmütz (Oct 17-18).
