Competence Based Assessment (English)

Competence-oriented teaching requires competence-oriented assessment. Precisely formulated learning outcomes are essential in order to do so. Assessment at universities can have different purposes, which in turn place different demands on the way examinations are conducted and evaluated. Based on the learning outcomes of the participants, this workshop will look at possible examination formats and discuss assessment and evaluation criteria. In addition to subject-specific learning objectives, overarching topics such as the assessment of group work or presentations can also be discussed. Finally, the workshop offers a glimpse on the potential of AI tools as an aid in the creation of competence-oriented examinations.

ATTENTION: In preparation, participants are asked to review didactic basics and bring pre-formulated learning outcomes to the workshop.
