AI in Higher Education: Using AI Tools to Plan, Prepare, and Conduct Lessons (English)

It’s not only students who can use AI to support their academic work. Teachers as well can make use of AI to plan, prepare, and conduct their lessons. In this workshop, we look at selected tools which can help us to plan and prepare sessions, devise teaching methods, and prepare teaching material. Participants are encouraged to bring in and share their own ideas and experience of best practices. Please note that this course will not include using AI in evaluating students’ exams or term papers, or analyzing student performances in the sense of learning analytics. We focus

Prerequisite
Participants should EITHER
have attended the first workshop in the workshop series AI in Higher Education „Teaching in the Age of AI” (16.05.2025)
OR
prepare the session by working through the material the workshop moderator provides in advance (self-study time approx. 2 hours
