AI in Higher Education: Dealing With AI in Exams (English)
In a world in which it is impossible to make sure if students wrote a text themselves, we need to revise our examination procedures to ensure that students acquire the competencies they are meant to acquire. In this workshop, we focus on the question of how to deal with exams which might be affected by students using AI, e.g. in term papers or open book written exams.
We discuss which and how exams have to be revised, how we can include the use of AI as marking criteria, and how to align our learning outcomes and teaching to the exams in a sensible way. We also discuss how AI tools might help us to prepare exams efficiently.
